Paper Enclosures

Equipment and Material

• computer with printer and PDF viewer software
• 8.5 x 11 printer paper
• 8.5 x 11 card stock (manila file folder OK)
• spray adhesive
• ink or paint to decorate exterior
• straight edge
• x-acto knife
• scoring tool

Procedure

1. Print the PDF template on white paper with PAGE SCALING set to NONE
2. Verify that the inches scale is accurate - a small deviation is OK.
3. Using spray adhesive, mount the page to card stock.  Manila file folder works.
4. Paint or decorate the opposite side.  This will be the outside of the enclosure.  Let paint dry
5. Cut template along solid lines
6. Score template along dotted lines.  To score, use a small blunt tipped instrument and a straight edge.  The object is to leave an indentation in the paper so it will fold cleanly
7. Fold template upward along dotted lines
8. Install one Andromeda Space Rockers drum machine
