Ibanez DM-1000 Delay Mod
I’m a fan of digital delay boxes from the 1980’s. Particularly the Ibanez DM-1000. Not because it has an especially great sound or lots of RAM, rather because it has plenty of knobs and buttons. In 2007 I opened one of them up and added some additional circuitry. Its hard to explain what it does exactly… it becomes sort of a granular looping effect. It synchronizes with my Big Box o’ Techno for tempo-locked sampling effects.
