What’s new…

I’m currently working on an exhibit created for Childrens Museum of Houston by Argyle Design.  I’m designing a set of interactive electronic pieces that involve six types of sensors for kids to play with, and a variety of output devices that they can control… mini laser show, analog synths, a crazy color/light panel with 768 LEDs, kinetic sculptures, and more… the exhibit is titled “Bytes and Bots” and opens in March.

I just posted some new videos to my youtube channel.  I put up a pair of analog animations titled Oscillography - Lagged Fibonacci Generator that illustrate an algorithmic art technique I’m working on.  Matrixsynth was kind enough to mention one of the videos.  I haven’t yet made a page for it on this site … that’s on the way though.  It uses a digital feedback technique similar to the bird box sequencer.  Until then, here’s a diagram of the circuitry behind it.  Thanks to Paul Baker for help with these videos.

And peep out the newest device in the gallery, Analog Computer Bouncing Ball.  The video is on youtube here.   Many thanks to Matthew Thies for filming and editing this video.
